Further Grant Information

Red House Youth Trust makes available a range of grants to young people, youth organisations, youth groups and charities within the County of Norfolk. The objectives of the Red House Youth Trust are:

1. The advancement of education and training in the following order of priority:

  • Beneficiaries in need of care and protection
  • Providers of care and protection for beneficiaries
  • Beneficiaries


Beneficiaries are defined as children and young persons under the age of 21 resident in the County of Norfolk.


2. The trustees may assist beneficiaries by:

  • Providing or paying for goods, services or facilities for them; or
  • Making grants of money to other persons or bodies which provide goods, services or facilities to beneficiaries.

All grants are approved by the Trustees but are administered by our staff who are able to advise you on what the Trustees will or will not support. It is suggested you contact the staff before you make an application.

Exceptions

Grants are only available to young people, youth organisations, youth groups and charities within the County of Norfolk.


What will not be funded

  • International trips for groups or individuals.
  • For individuals, not more than £750 per individual.
  • Not normally to support core costs.
  • No further applications will be considered within 12 months of a grant having been awarded.
  • No application will be considered without being accompanied by annual audited/examined/scrutinized accounts.
  • No application will be considered without being accompanied by an up-to-date copy of a bank statement.

All grants are approved by the Trustees but are administered by our staff who are able to advise you on what the Trustees will or will not support. It is suggested you contact the staff before you make an application

The Trustees of Red House Youth Trust make visits to projects to be aware of the development of the project following the investment of a grant from Red House Youth Trust.

The Red House Trustees would like to receive a written report following the conclusion of the project or progress report if the project is ongoing. This should be submitted using the following form:
